Fabulous Find: D. A. Hurd Library Selected to Share June Profits
The D. A. Hurd Library has been selected as one of six library beneficiaries of The Fabulous Find profits for the month of June. Library patrons and community members are encouraged to donate and shop at the Kittery store from June 1-30.
The Fabulous Find is a boutique-style resale shop located on State Road in Kittery. It is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation (under “A Caring Community”). It was founded in 2010 by a small group of Seacoast Maine and New Hampshire women who had a vision for a non-profit resale boutique that would benefit a variety of other worthy non-profits in the seacoast region. In fourteen years, they have awarded over 3 million dollars to over 150 local non-profits.
We are honored to have been chosen along with the Barrington Library Foundation, Friends Supporting Wells Public Library, Friends of the Weeks Public Library, Kennebunk Free Library, and William Fogg Public Library.
The Fabulous Find graciously welcomes the following donations during operating hours: Better Quality Clothing, Footwear, Accent Furniture, Housewares, Scarves and Accessories, Jewelry, DVD’s and Books (non-reference), Antiques and Collectables, Table Linens and Quilts, and Artwork and Home Decor.
The Fabulous Find is located at 139 State Road in Kittery and is open Wednesday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
