Borrow books, DVDs, kits, magazines, audiobooks, CAC Musical Instruments, and birding backpacks. Free WiFi access, storytime, games, programs and special events, and fax & copy services are available. The library is a drop-off location for non-perishable and non-expired items for the North Berwick Food Pantry.

You can access ComicsPlus for free with your D. A. Hurd Library account.
Search for "Hurd" or "North Berwick, then click "North Berwick: D.A. Hurd Library" in the drop-down box.
Enter you library card number, then Click "Log In"
ComicsPlus Apple or Google Play app users, the pin is the last 4 digits of your library card.
Provides residents of Maine access to online resources including a collection of full text articles and abstracts from magazines, newspapers, journals and reference. It also provides students, business people, public library patrons, and higher education students and educators the ability to use online learning tools.
Thanks to the Remote Work through Libraries Grants there are laptops, mobile standing desks, and free high-speed internet access available in the D. A. Hurd Library.
#HaveYouHurd we are excited to announce the D. A. Hurd Library Sensory Garden's growing capacity will be expanding since the accessible greenhouse has arrived and has been installed.
This accessible greenhouse was funded through an ALA Libraries Transforming Communities Accessible 2 grant award. We are grateful for the support.
